Thought Disorders in Depressive Adolescents with High-Risk for Schizophrenia

Background: the need to develop methods for early diagnostics and preventive interventions in individuals at clinical high-risk state schizophrenia requires studying characteristics of specific symptoms pre-onset stages. One such may be thought disorder, which still have an ambiguous position psychopathological structure schizophrenia. Aim: correlation analysis disorders patients with first depressive episode attenuated (ASS). Patients methods: study included 30 young men (mean age 19.2 ± 2.1 years) hospitalized (F32.1, F32.2, F32.28, F32.8 on ICD-10), ASS were noted. The severity was assessed using Thought, Language Communication scale (TLC) before discharge. Subsequently performed search correlations scores TLC other as duration current episode, according Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HDRS), Prodromal Symptoms (SOPS) Assessment Negative (SANS), drug therapy doses. Results: median value total score 20 [17.3;23.5]. most important finding is discovery only weak affect ASS. Indeed, correlated SOPS admission ( r = 0.370, p < 0.05), refiects relationship between activity endogenous process stages, SANS subscale “Attention” discharge 0.388, also indirectly existing disorders. greatest number demonstrated by parameter “Illogicality”. Conclusion: data obtained indicates independent nature youth first-onset depression, determine its prognostic manifestation.
